Ready is the hindi version of superhit Telugu film ‘Ready’, which was directed by Sreenu Vaitla and its main lead was Genelia and Ram. Ready, hindi movie is directed by Anees Bazmee, who has given many blockbuster comedies like Welcome and Singh is King.
Ready movie has brought the pair of Salman Khan and Asin together again in the lead roles after London Dreams. It is reported that Salman Khan was the one who referred Asin’s name to the film’s team. Asin’s role in the movie is of a talkative and vivacious girl. Other star cast of Ready is Paresh Rawal in a key role, Arya Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar and comedian Sudesh Lahiri.
Story of Ready is about a kind hearted simple boy named Prem (Salman Khan) who by mistake kidnaps Sanjanna (Asin) from her wedding. Soon he falls in love with that girl. Rest of the story is woven around as to how he tricks Sanjanna’s uncles to stop them from acquiring her possession.
Music of Ready is composed by Pritam. There are three romantic songs and two foot tapping dance numbers along with a title track.
As told by the makers of Ready, Mauritius was the location decided for the shooting of the film but on Salman Khan’s persuasion it was shifted to Sri Lanka. First scene of the movie was shot in Colombo on 20th June 2010. Some of the sequences are shot in Film city and Madh Island of Mumbai (India). The film was delayed a bit because of problem in Salman Khan’s eyes.
Producer Bhushan Kumar is extremely happy with the professionalism and dedication that Salman Khan has shown in his work. He informed that the movie is full of humor and drama along with 3-4 action sequences just for Salman fans. He commented: “In short it’s a total masala entertainer with proper story and screenplay”.
Release of Ready is eagerly awaited by Salman Khan’s fans on 27th May 2011.
